Children are our investment for the future and no one understands that more than Kathleen Jenkins of The Little Colonial School Shop in Philo, Ohio.

With 36 years as an accredited teacher and countless hours involved in seminars and in-service programs, Kathleen has set herself apart in the field of education.

In 2005, she started The Little Colonial School Shop as a way to share her knowledge with parents of home schooled children and teachers alike. From there, the idea blossomed and grew.

Kathleen Jenkins is certified on a Masters level in Elementary Education and recently completed a course in Business Management with an emphasis on Art at the Art Business Institute of Hocking College. She uses her wealth of experience to hand select the materials that she offers and provides both day and evening classes to instruct people in their use.

Most days you can find Kathleen hard at work in The Little Colonial School Shop, but on the first Friday of each month you will find her at the Zanesville Appalachian Arts Project Gallery at 625 Main St.

If you have questions, need school supplies, or think you have what it takes to be the next Picasso, contact Kathleen at The Little Colonial School Shop.
